Pet Cremation vs Aquamation

Pet cremation uses flame; pet aquamation uses a gentle water-based process (alkaline hydrolysis). At Precious Paws Aftercare Services in Metro Manila, both are individual services. Families receive the same keepsake package — photobox urn, paw print, hair sample, sympathy card, and certificate — and free pickup and return within Metro Manila.

The practical differences are the method and the usual return time: cremation is typically 3 to 5 days; aquamation is typically 5 to 7 days. Weight-based prices are the same for both.

Your pet is identified and tagged, then cremated individually. Ashes are returned in a personalized photobox urn. Optional rush cremation with return within 24 hours is available for an additional ₱3,000, subject to availability. See pet cremation for the full package.

Aquamation (also called resomation or water cremation) uses water, temperature, and alkali to gently reduce the body. Both options include individual aftercare, keepsakes, private chapel service for walk-in clients, and Metro Manila pickup and return. Walk-in bring-and-pick-up families receive ₱1,000 off either package.
